Great time at OJ's Eastwood with Orkid, Dio, Eric and Oging. It was actually just our PLAN B (PLAN A being watching Narnia, which happened to be sold out) but enjoyed nevertheless! :) We even contemplated on road tripping to Tagaytay or Star City or Tiendesitas. But we ended up there with no regrets.The feel of the resto's veranda is great, bamboo platform, low-rise tables, and big pillows (makes me think of Moomba, Roces Ave). "Makes me think of Korea," as the elite lola from the other table put it. :) We didn't get to enjoy the buffet,though. Unfortunately, we already had our dinner at Congo Grille El Pueblo. Sayang :)
If you want to enjoy live bands but do not want to smell like an ashtray afterwards, go to OJ's. The veranda's the perfect spot to listen to the live band one floor up. The band that was playing (3rd Avenue accdg to the waiter though we doubted it), is Craig David-ish. Great band. I hope they won't sell out. :)
Strong Ice as usual, but I wanted to be sosyal that night din so I ordered Mexicola (haha). Just the right kick of tequila baybeh! And Cosmopolitan. It wasn't my usual gimik, heck what I liked best about it is that I didn't have to wash my hair 3 times when I got home because there was no hint of smoke odor whatsoever!
The only complain I have is the very small washroom and the absence of tissue paper! It's not like the place is crowded to cause shortage in tissue paper. Haha. This is my only complaint.
Overall, I give the place a high mark. :)
